Introduction: One of the practical applications of technology is the synchronization of specialized knowledge with information technology in the health sector. Today, with the development of technology, technology and information systems, the art of patient care and patient and family education has also been impressive, but so far no software has been developed to provide counseling to nurses or to train patients in our country. Therefore, the design of such a system, in addition to being useful to the patient and in general, can be considered as complementary to nurses' decision making in care and education. Despite the fact that in our country nurses' performance in the field of education and care decision is still based on traditional methods, the adoption of a nursing information system and patient education in the near future to systematically apply nursing knowledge in order to transfer Part of decision making on technology and decision-making systems to meet the growing needs of patients will lead to changes in this area. Procedure: The main purpose of the design and implementation of this program was to design web-based educational software in some of the specific diseases in order to provide scientifically and verified educational and care information according to the needs of the patients. Improvement of self-care of patients, reduction of nurses' work pressure and increase of quality of training and reduction of errors are among other goals of this project. Software design was done in three stages: 1. Establishing a database of data including medical diagnoses and related nursing care (Phase I: Diabetes and Hypertension) based on the latest standards of care and education as well as the survey of professional experts and care coding 2- Designing intelligent software to provide nursing care education (assessment, diagnosis, planning, care and evaluation). 3. To perform a pilot to evaluate the program, the software was installed on several systems and was designed for use in at least three hospitals. User-Based Evaluation or User Based Assessment. The participants were 30 nurses and patients. Nurses and patients with their own consent were invited to work with the software. After giving them the necessary training, the participants were asked to provide explanations about how to work with the system and its potential problems. Each user answers questions about the content and application software. A questionnaire was also prepared by the researchers, which included questions about the amount of content and information provided, language, relevant images, educational quality, and the patient / nurse's individual treatment, how to provide the system guidance and the results and impact of the information provided, and It was also the motivation of users to reuse the system as well as the demographic information of the participants. All participants are asked to complete the questionnaire at the first time after work with the system. The questions included in the questionnaire include: - Demographics of users - Effectiveness of system performance such as: data entry time, data loading time, information management and ease of operation with the control panel - The quality of the information provided by the system - The language of the information in the system and their ease of understanding Research findings: Patient education has always been one of the worries of nurses. The software provides valuable information to patients. Some of the benefits of this software include: - Promote care by personalizing training so that reading and understanding is easy - Simplicity of work with the software will allow patients to get the information within seconds - Save time and money Using this Internet-based or Internet-based software enables nurses to guide patients at any stage of the care spectrum to continue their education. - Because of the ease of use of this software, the nurse or patient will spend very little time learning how to work. - The final version of the software will be installed on the HIS system of hospitals. Discussion and conclusion: In the field of patient education in Greece in 2004 and at three university hospitals in Athens, the software was designed based on standardized information systems in the field of diagnosis and planning and implementation of nursing measures. The results were evaluated. This study, which was carried out on 120 hospitalized patients and hospital nurses, after installing the program and using the participants in the research (about one and a half hours) of the software, were asked about how to access the required information And their updating, as well as the speed of the questionnaire system. Results showed For most users the information needed to use the software easy to use and has funded them. In our country, patient education is considered as a complement to the chain of value chain in delivering healthcare and care to patients. Therefore, it is essential to provide the latest technology and technology. Due to the severe shortage of skilled nursing staff and the increasing needs of the community to specialized nurses' services as well as quality services, the need to design a complete information system based on the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patients with independent counseling and counseling services in a short period of time. Educational provision has grown and has become one of the motivational needs of the community. |
