تعیین سطح آلودگی هوای آزاد به BTEX در محدوده بندر شهید رجایی |

ترکیبات بنزن، تولوئن، اتیل بنزن و زایلن (BTEX) آلاینده‌های خطرناک در محیط زیست محسوب می‌گردند و ممکن است ریسک بهداشتی ایجاد کنند. بر این اساس، هدف این مطالعه اندازه گیری غلظت BTEX در هوای آزاد بندر شهید رجایی در استان هرمزگان بود. نمونه برداری در دو فصل گرم و سرد انجام شد و آلاینده ها توسط GC-MS مورد آنالیز قرار گرفتند. میانه (حداقل-حداکثر) سطح غلظت BTEX در فصل سرد 29/4 (71/3 تا 70/6) و فصل گرم 95/8 (39/4 تا 70/14) میکروگرم در مترمکعب بود. آزمون آماری نشان داد که همبستگی مثبت و معناداری بین جفت ترکیبات BTEX و همچنین بین غلظت کل BTEX و دمای هوا وجود داشت. با توجه به این همبستگی و همچنین نسبت T/B بیش از 1 در تمام نقاط نمونه برداری میتوان نتیجه گیری کرد که ترافیک وسایل نقلیه منبع اصلی انتشار ترکیبات BTEX در منطقه مورد مطالعه بود و انتشار این آلاینده‌ها به هوا عمدتاً از طریق فرآیند تبخیر می‌باشد. بنابراین، لازم است به مدیریت و کنترل این نوع آلودگی بخصوص در نواحی نزدیک جاده‌های پرترافیک توجه ویژه‌ای شود. |

Determination of BTEX pollution level of ambient air around Shahid Rajaee port |

Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene (BTEX) compounds are hazardous pollutants in the environment and may pose health risk. Accordingly, the aim of this study was to measure the concentration of BTEX in the ambient air of Shahid Rajaei port, Hormozgan Province. Sampling was performed in warm and cold seasons and the pollutants were analyzed by GC-MS. The median (min-max) concentration level of BTEX in the cold season was 4.29 (3.71 to 6.70) and in the warm season was 8.95 (4.39 to 14.70) µg/m3. Statistical test showed that there was a positive and significant correlation between BTEX compounds and also between total BTEX concentration and air temperature. Considering this correlation and also the T/B ratio>1 in all sampling points, it can be concluded that vehicle traffic was the main source of BTEX emissions in the study area and the emission of these pollutants into ambient air is mainly occurred by the evaporation process. Therefore, it is necessary to pay special attention to the management and control of this type of pollution, especially in areas near high traffic roads. |
