بررسی مقایسهای رابطه وزن و پارامترهای مورفومتریک اتولیت با طول ماهی در گونه کفشک تیزدندان (Psettodes erumei Bloch and Schneider, ۱۸۰۱) سه منطقه خلیج فارس، تنگه هرمز و دریای عمان (استان هرمزگان) |

مطالعه حاضر با هدف تعیین روابط بین وزن اتولیت و پارامترهای مورفومتریک آن با طول ماهی در گونه کفشک تیزدندان انجام شد. برای این منظور 94 نمونه از صید تورهای ترال کفروب و تورهای گوشگیر کف سه منطقه خلیج فارس، تنگه هرمز و دریای عمان (استان هرمزگان) تهیه و بررسی شد. پس از استخراج اتولیت های سمت دارای چشم و سمت فاقد چشم، وزن و پارامترهای مورفومتریکی اتولیت ها شامل طول، عرض، محیط و مساحت از طریق تهیه تصاویر دیجیتال به کمک نرم افزارImage plus 2 Motic ثبت گردید. میانگین وزن و پارامترهای اتولیتی (هم در اتولیت سمت دارای چشم و هم در اتولیت سمت فاقد چشم) در سه منطقه تفاوت معنی دارای نشان نداد. برای تعیین روابط رگرسیونی، ابتدا همبستگی بین طول کل ماهی با پارامترهای اتولیتی از طریق همبستگی پیرسون بررسی شد. نتایج نشان داد که در هر سه منطقه رابطه بین طول ماهی و پارامترهای اتولیتی در سطح 01/0 معنی دار بود. روابط رگرسیونی طول ماهی با پارامترهای اتولیتی (سمت دارای چشم و سمت فاقد چشم) وابستگی قوی ای بین طول کل ماهی با وزن، طول و مساحت اتولیت در هر سه منطقه نشان داد که این وابستگی در خلیج فارس و تنگه هرمز نسبت به دریای عمان قوی تر بود (75/0<2R). نتایج مطالعه حاضر اطلاعات بنیادی برای انجام مطالعات دیگر در زمینه شناسایی دقیق ذخایر کفشک تیزدندان، به عنوان یک گونه مهم تجاری، در شمال خلیج فارس و دریای عمان بر اساس آنالیز شکل اتولیت را فراهم می کند و از این طریق به مدیریت صید و بهره برداری پایدار از ذخایر این گونه در منطقه کمک شایانی می کند. |

Comparison of the relationship between weight and morphometric parameters of otolith and fish length in Psettodes erumei (Bloch and Schneider, 1801) of the Persian Gulf, the Hormuz Strait and the Oman Sea (Hormozgan province) |

The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between weight and morphometric parameters of otolith, and fish length in Psettodes erumei. For this purpose, 94 specimens were collected from bottom trawls and bottom gill nets of the three areas including the Persian Gulf, the Hormuz Strait and the Oman Sea (Hormozgan province) and then examined. After extracting the eyed-side and blind-side otoliths, the weight and the otolith morphometric parameters including length, width, perimeter and area were recorded through preparation digital images using Motic Image plus 2 software. The mean weight and otolith parameters (in both eyed-side and blind-side otoliths) did not show any significant difference in the three areas. To determine the regression relationships, the correlation between fish total length and each otolith parameter was first investigated through Pearson correlation. Results showed that in all three areas, the relationship between fish length and otolith parameters was significant at the level of 0.01. Regression models between fish length and otolith parameters (eyed-side and blind-side) showed a strong correlation between fish length and otolith weight, length and area in all three areas which it was stronger in the Persian Gulf and the Hormuz Strait than in the Oman Sea (R2>0.75). The results of the present study provide fundamental information for stock identification of P. erumei, a commercially valuable flatfish species, in the north of the Persian Gulf and the Oman Sea based on the otolith shape analysis and through this provide key information for fishery management and sustainable exploitation of P. erumei in the area. |
